  • Rumor Suggests Forza Motorsport 6, Forza Horizon 3, and Gears of War 4 Coming to PC

    A rumor that seems to have originated from WPDang, suggests that Forza Motorsport 6, Forza Horizon 3, and Gears of War 4 are also making their way to the PC via the Windows 10 Store. The news, brought to us via Windows Central, say that the rumor comes from "unnamed sources" and that Scalebound might also be headed to Windows 10.

    This rumor comes right after confirmation that Quantum Break is headed to Windows 10 computers exclusively through the Windows Store. Other confirmed Windows 10 titles include Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, ReCore, Halo Wars 2, and Killer Instinct.

    Just keep in mind that unless Microsoft changes their policies, these will be exclusive to the Windows Store and will run in a super restrictive sandbox environment. But hey, most people won't give a damn about that anyway.

        If true it would be great that MS is finally releasing more of their games to PC, it's just a shame they have to lock it up in such restrictive ways instead of supporting what's so great about PC's, that being how open they are as a platform.

          Microsoft should do a bit more research and find out how VALVe got away with making their PC games require Steam since Half-Life 2. I don't think Steam was that restrictive even during its earlier ugly orange/green days. These limitations aren't incentives for us to turn to the Windows Store on PC, and they need to understand the kind of flexibilities we want on PC. Geez, take a few notes from GOG... Their Galaxy Platform isn't scared of allowing games to be sold through other channels, and rather offer optional incentives that simply attract us to the platform.
