Joining Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard in the staff for the upcoming Assassin's Creed film are none other than Jeremy Irons and Brendan Gleeson.

Irons will assume the role of Cotillard's father in the film while Irons will play as Fassbender's father. All actors are under the direction of Justin Kurzel when filming begins next week.

Jeremy Irons is perhaps best known for his work as Scar in The Lion King, Simon Gruber in Die Hard: With a Vengeance, and for his role in The Man in the Iron Mask. Brendan Gleeson had prominent roles as Alastor "Mad Eye" Moody in the Harry Potter films and also starred in such films as Edge of Tomorrow, Braveheart, and Gangs of New York.
