Dang it... They didn't bring back Alyson Court to voice act Claire? That's a shame. She's basically known for Claire Redfield, as well as the person who inadvertently changed Mega Man's boss naming conventions in X5's English localization. (To be fair, Guns N' Roses is technically a reference to music, but nobody seems to realize Mega Man's theme revolves around elements of music, probably because it's a stronger focus in the Japanese versions.)

I imagine the public's going to be pissed about this... *Browses for five seconds.* Yep they are, and boy is the response childish and completely useless... If Capcom brings her back as a DLC voice pack through a petition of 1,000 signatures backing a statement full of vulgarities and exaggerations, I will laugh. Still... Least Alyson has a bunch of fans rooting for her, which is nice.

I didn't know people held her voice performance in such a high regard, the only RE games i played have Jill in them, i hated Code Veronica enough to take it back to the store the day i got it.
I've seen Degeneration and thought the voice work was fine, do people really have that much of a problem with a voice change?
Besides, after watching some of that gameplay footage above, i think it's cool that Claire has the same accent as Chris, she wraps her tounge around words in the same way he does, i like the voice a lot.
