Valve just announced another upcoming Steam Fest. This one is for the typists out there. Those who write a lot and just cannot get enough of it so they keep on writing on and on until they write a way-to-long sentence that nobody in their right mind would ever actually type out.
The Steam Typing Fest will begin on February 5th at 10 AM PT. Running until February 9th at 10 AM PT, Steam users will be able to get discounts, demos, and previews of games that are centered around, well, typing.
According to Valve's press release, the Steam Typing Fest will include relaxing typing games, with examples of "cozy letter writers" and "learning another language." There will also be murderous focused typing games where you type out words to do battle against evil monsters.
The fact that Steam even has a Typing category is honestly news to me, but there are apparently enough games out there to warrant its own section. Some of the big sellers under "Typing" include games like Home Safety Hotline, Typing of the Dead: Overkill, Blood Typers, and Dead Letter Dept.
