From now through to December 4 at 10AM (PT), the Steam Autumn Sale is live. This means you will be able to save big on literally thousands of games across every game genre under the sun.
Valve also notes that select models of the Steam Deck LCD version are on sale. In the EU, the 64GB model is 15% off. In the US and Canada, the 512GB models are 25% off. These will be on sale only while supplies last.
The Steam Autumn Sale is also the time in which you get cast your nominations for the annual Steam Awards. Voting on the finalist will kick off at the start of the Steam Winter Sale (December 19th) with the winners revealed on the 31st at 10AM (PT).
There is a little change in how the Labor of Love category is handled this year.
The eligibility for the Labor of Love category works a little different from all the other categories.
The Labor of Love category is intended for games that have been around long enough to have been shown lots of development love - at least a year or so. So all games that released prior to last year's autumn sale are eligible for nomination with the exception of previous year's winners (Warframe, GTA V, Counter-Strike 2, Terraria, Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2).
For every category except Labor of Love, only games that released on Steam after the previous year's Autumn Sale will be eligible for nominations.
