Valve has given you all a week to prepare for the upcoming Steam Winter Sale for 2022. The Steam Winter Sale begins on December 22 at 10AM (PT) and won't end until January 5, 2023 at 10AM (PT).

Today's press release announcement from Valve says that the Steam Winter Sale will again put big discounts on thousands of games. Every genre imaginable will be on sale, so you're almost guaranteed to find something worth playing. Whether or not you spend the money on what you find though is entirely up to you to decide.

Valve is also offering some free stickers during the event. I assume they're talking about the chat stickers, not like... actual stickers.

Of course, voting for the winners of the Steam Awards will also take place during the sale. Valve says that the finalists in each will be revealed starting Friday, December 16.
