The David Cage Trilogy Coming to Steam on June 18

A full script may or may not be included.

On June 18, Quantic Dream says that they will release not one, not even two, but three titles on Steam. These three titles were out first on PlayStation hardware, with a PC release hitting last Summer on the Epic Games Store. It seems as though a year has passed, as these things tend to do, and as such it's time for Steam to have its moment to shine.

On June 18, we will see Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy R...

Unreal Engine 5 Announced for Next-gen Platforms

Don't expect any games any time soon though.

"Nanite" and "Lumen" are going to be the new buzzwords for the next few years. Those two terms were the highlight of today's reveal for the Unreal Engine 5. The engine, still very early in development at Epic, won't be released to the public until late 2021. An early preview will be made available to some in early 2021. This engine is being built to support current-generation consoles, next-generation consoles, PC, Mac,...

Steam Summer Sale 2020 Dates Leaked

Get those wallets ready.

A time honored consumer tradition is waiting until the right moment to spend a lot of money on items they wanted but did not want to pay full price for. An equally time honored tradition, at least among PC gamers is having the dates of the Steam Summer Sale leaked well ahead of time.

In fact, those dates are usually leaked right around this time of the year. In fact, 2019's dates were leaked almost exactly a year ago, with a difference of just...

Just a Reminder that Elder Scrolls VI Details are Still Many Years Away

In case that wasn't obvious.

Bethesda's Pete Hines confirmed again this weekend that any details for The Elder Scrolls VI are still many years away. This was completely expected after Bethesda's first reveal from E3 2018 that said it was coming after Starfield. As Starfield is also still quite a ways away, this should come as no surprise to anybody.

Starfield itself was only briefly discussed back at E3 2018. We did not know much about the game then. In fact, we know about...

Rumor: New BioShock in Development from 2K

According to some quick investigative work by Kotaku's Jason Schreier, a "top-secret" 2K studio is working on a "top-secret" new BioShock game. Schreier found this out while reporting on a story about Hangar 13 and how that studio lost its way with Mafia III.

This should probably not come as too big of a surprise to anybody. It will be interesting to see how this new BioShock game fares without Ken Levine and Irrational Games.

Terraria: Otherworld Cancelled After 3 Years of Development

Three years ago Re-Logic announced Terraria: Otherworld, an "alternate dimension" to the Terraria universe that you probably know and maybe even love. The game was going to task players with trying to restore a once-pristine world that has been "overrun by a malevolent force that has corrupted nature itself." It wanted to combine elements of sandbox gameplay with RPG elements and strategy elements. That is to say: It was essentially Terraria set in an alternate universe. Well, it's been c...

King of Nothing: Billy Mitchell Stripped of Records, Banned

Most of Billy Mitchell's world records and high scores were stripped from him today following allegations that he cheated when he "earned" his high score in Donkey Kong of 1,062,800 points. The records, originally approved by Twin Galaxies, were subsequently stripped by Twin Galaxies following an "extensive research period" into claims that Mitchell utilized an emulator to obtain that high score. Mitchell first earned the record in Donkey Kong back in 1982. He then re-set the record ...

The reviews for the new PlayStation 4 God of War started to come out early this morning and hot damn, it looks like it's a pretty good game. Alright, "pretty good" might be an understatement here because it's sitting at a 95 overall rating through OpenCritic and 94 on Metacritic. This places it in the top 0.1% of all games currently reviewed on OpenCritic. Both sites don't have any reviews that are lower than 80% as of the time of this posting.
