The 4v4 ranked mode CDL Moshpit has been hit with a delay.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Today, the first season for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 launched. However, it launched without the 4v4 ranked mode called CDL Moshpit. Treyarch said on Twitter that the competitive mode has suffered a "slight delay."

Specifically, the studio says that due to "recently discovered issues with the mode" a delay had to be made. They say that "addressing these issues are our current top priority." Updates on the release timing will be made to the public once they have more information to share.

Treyarch directs fans to the Modern Warfare 2 Trello page that lists this CDL Moshpit issue under the "Multiplayer Known Issues" heading. Sadly, the entry for this known issue does not provide any additional details as to what the problem actually is.

Though unfortunate, there really is no shortage of other new Call of Duty content to play today. There is the Warzone 2.0 launch that we previously mentioned. There is also the first Battle Pass season to work your way through via competitive multiplayer or Warzone 2.0. There is also the DMZ mode, which is included with Warzone 2.0.
