After teasing fans for a little bit on their social media channels, Infinity Ward revealed the official logo today for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This will be the 2022 sequel to the 2019 reboot of the first Modern Warfare, which came out in 2007. The first Modern Warfare 2 came out in 2009.

Why am I rambling on about release dates? Because there isn't anything to talk about today besides this new logo reveal. This logo is literally the only thing that was shown off for the game so far.
This new Modern Warfare was officially announced back in February. I suppose technically, the Modern Warfare 2 name wasn't really official. All we knew at the time was that it was going to be a sequel to the rebooted Modern Warfare game.
Hopefully, Modern Warfare 2 is a good game, because it will mark the last of the annual Call of Duty releases as we know them. As reported earlier, there will be no major Call of Duty release in 2023.
