  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Looks Like Garbage on Xbox 360

A comparison between the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 went up today and man, the Xbox 360 version looks downright ugly at times. Look at this.

It just gets worse from here. YouTube user, Candyland, shows off some of the visual differences between the two generations.

It should be safe to assume that the PlayStation 3 version will look just as bad as the Xbox 360 version shown above.

Don't forget that this is a $50 game that only includes multiplayer, has a variable framerate, and won't get many of the features that the new generation will have in spades.

I swear if I would see stills of some of the parts of the map I would say it looks like COD 2

I wonder when will the franchise actually take a turn and go for change.

As long as they are breaking money making records, it wont.

What do you want them to do? How can you innovate the Call of Duty franchise? What hasn't it done yet that would not only captivate its current fans but also entice newcomers to the franchise?

If they "innovate" too much, they risk losing their old fans at the chance of gaining new ones.

Besides, if Treyarch isn't making it, the chances of actual innovation are slim to none. Infinity Ward sure as hell won't be innovation leaders. Sledgehammer? I suppose maybe. Sledgehammer at least introduced the vertical gameplay movement to the series which Treyarch fortunately held onto for Blops 3.
