Battlefield 4 PC Patch Address Mutual Kills, Sound Loop Crashes, and More
A patch for the PC version of Battlefield 4 was released today. The patch includes, among other items, fixes for the SUAV providing quick roadkills, fixes for mutual kills, and fixes for the sound loop crash.

Latest Battlefield 4 PC Update Includes Even More Client Crash Fixes - December 9, 2013
May as well start your day off right with a new Battlefield 4 patch for the PC version of the game. There is both a client patch and a small R15 server update, all of which is detailed below.

DICE and EA Suspend Battlefield 4 Expansion Development Until Major Issues are Resolved
An EA spokesperson said that they are suspending development of future Battlefield 4 expansions in order to focus on getting the game to be playable for most users. DICE attempted to make amends with a week long double XP event but that really hasn't resolved the crashing issues many players are still running into.

China Rising Available Now for Battlefield 4 Premium Players
Early this morning, DICE and EA not only released a new patch for the PC version of Battlefield 4, but they also released the China Rising expansion for Premium subscribers. Those who pre-ordered or who want to buy the expansion separately will have to wait a couple of weeks.

DICE Working on Battlefield 4 Patch to Fix One Hit Kill Bug, EMP Blur Effect, and Loss of Sound Bug
Oh. My. God. DICE has revealed that the next patch is already in the works for the PC version of Battlefield 4. Notably, they are looking into a few items that the community has given them some feedback on including the horrendous EMP blur effect, the one hit kill bug, and the loss of sound on a few maps such as on Golmud Railway!

Double XP Event Planned for Battlefield 4 to Apologize for Server Issues - November 28 to December 5
DICE's General Manager, Karl Magnus Troedsson, announced today that there will be a special double XP event starting on November 28 for Battlefield 4. The reason for the special event is due to the recent server issues that Battlelog had thanks to a lengthy DDoS attack and for various PlayStation 4 crashing issues.
In addition, any player that logs into the game on December 5 will get the M1911 pistol scope. This item was previously only available to those that worked at DICE.

Server Update R8 Released for Battlefield 4 Lowers Mobile AA Missile Damage
The R8 update for Battlefield 4 servers was released earlier today. This is just one of two patches slated for the game, with another patch for clients also coming today. There will also be a maitenance downtime on November 13, a console server update on the 13th, and more patches already planned for both consoles and PC.

Battlefield 4 on Xbox One Utilizes Kinect for Leaning, Peeking, and Voice Commands
The Xbox One version of Battlefield 4 will feature a few unique gameplay features courtesy of Kinect. Most notably, it will make use of head-tracking to allow you to lean out and peak simply by moving your head while playing.
This removes the problem of having to strafe out from behind cover, which completely exposes your body to attack. Leaning out from a corner will now only expose half of your body, which obviously offers a tactical advantage for those making use of the technology....
