A 10-hour trial for Battlefield 2042 will be available to EA Play subscribers starting on November 12. This deal also includes those who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as that Game Pass tier includes EA Play as a bonus perk. This deal is also being extended to Game Pass PC, and EA Play Pro subscribers on PC.
If you're on PC, you can apparently make use of $1 (USD) deal for Game Pass PC. For just a dollar, you'll get three months of Game Pass PC. This is supposed to be just for new Game Pass subscribers but those who have a lapsed subscription have also gotten it to work for them. Your mileage may vary but it's at least worth a shot.
This 10-hour trial could be just what some users need to see if the final release of the game is something that they would like to eventually pick up. Chances are that the recent open beta for the game didn't push you to buy the game or, at worst, actually pushed you away from buying the game. Seeing how the actual game feels in comparison to the beta is probably what a lot of people need to make an informed decision.
This free trial joins a fairly packed Game Pass release schedule for the month of November.

- Unpacking – November 2 (Console, PC, Cloud)
- It Takes Two – November 4 (Console, PC, Cloud)
