  • Report: All Future Battlefield 4 Content Will be Free

According to DICE's David Sirland, all future Battlefield 4 content will be free to everyone. This means that regardless of whether or not you're a Battlefield 4 Premium owner or not, the upcoming content will cost you nothing.

So, what does this include? Well, how's about some new maps? How's about a new game mode? What about some new weapons? Yes, yes, and yes.

The new Gunmaster game mode will be coming in the Spring 2015 update. This will also come with five new weapons that include the AN-94, two variants of the Groza assault rifle, the L86A1, and the "Saddle Gun Sniper."

After the big Spring update will be another update that brings night versions of several existing Battlefield 4 maps. These maps include Siege of Shanghai, Zavod 311, and Golmud Railway with more possible.

This Summer will see the release of the new DICE community map. In addition to this map, an "unannounced map remake from a former Battlefield game" is also supposedly in the works and will be released "in the future."

Battlefield 6 Reviews - Solid Multiplayer, Terrible Single Player Campaign
      by Shawn Zipay
The multiplayer more than makes up for the "dull" campaign.

The initial batch of reviews for Battlefield 6 indicate that yes, Battlefield is back! This is assuming you ignore the "short," "disappointing," and "dull" single player campaign. At least the multiplayer component seems to more than make up for the massively disappointing campaign.

The average critical score on OpenCritic for Battlefield 6 is 84% with 92% of all critics...

Battlefield 2042 Review: A Battlefield in Ruins
      by Shawn Zipay
Battlefield 2042 is a shallow, feature-lacking mess of a game that appeals to neither long-time franchise fans nor newcomers.

The release of Battlefield 2042 on November 19th should have been a joyous occasion for fans of the franchise. Instead, what the world received was a broken mess of a game that has long-standing "legacy" features removed, barren maps, and a tone that was often at odds with itself. Even after receiving three major post-launch updates, there is very...
