  • How to Earn the Weapon and Gadget Unlocks from China Rising Right Now in Battlefield 4

    The China Rising DLC isn't out yet for Battlefield 4 but apparently the weapons and gadgets are ready for you to unlock them now. Here are the items you can access and how you can get them.
    Weapons
    L85A2
    Assignment: Open Fire

    Assault ribbon x3
    Get a kill with a pistol in a round
    Get a kill with 40mm grenade in a round
    Get a kill with the defibrillator in a round

    L96A1
    Assignment: Need Only One

    Sniper ribbon x3
    Get a kill with a shotgun in a round
    Get a kill with a DMR in a round
    Get a kill with C4 in a round

    MTAR-21
    Assignment: Multitalented

    Get a kill with an AR
    Get a kill with a LMG
    Get a kill with a Sniper Rifle
    Get a kill with a grenade

    RPK-74M
    Assignment: Powder Keg

    LMG ribbon 3x
    Get a kill with the M224 Mortar

    MP7
    Assignment: Make A Dent

    Destroy an air vehicle with portable AA
    Anti Vehicle Ribbon x3


    Gadgets
    SUAV
    Assignment: Safe Raiding

    UNKNOWN

    UCAV
    Assignment: Eyes in the Sky

    Air Superiority Ribbon x1
    Jet Fighter Ribbon x3

    And so begins the annoying attempts at trying to unlock the L85A2 by playing in ways I don't normally play. Oh joy. There is one more assignment, Middle King, but it requires 10 hours of play in China Rising in addition to a five kill streak and one kill with the SUAV.

        I unlocked the MTAR. All the above *I THINK* needs to be done in 1 round each.

          The L85A2 req´s is tailor made for The Locker.
          I see a lot of AR´s running around with the defib in the near future.

            I was pissed off. I got all of the non-ribbon requirements my first try for the L8. The 40mm came first, and then the defib kill, and then the pistol kill. It was actually easy to do but then I didn't have enough time to get the third ribbon in the round so ended up with 2/3.

            And since you need to do the non-ribbon stuff in one round, I then had to redo that all again while earning the third ribbon. Oddly enough, both attempts were done on Siege of Shanghai without much issue. I actually had more difficulty getting the 40mm kill than the defib kill my second go at it.

            The L85 is the only one I really wanted from this since it (at the time) took forever for unlocks to occur in Battlefield 2 and it was the one I unlocked and thus ended up using a ton of from the get-go.
