Konami just announced that they are about to offer up exclusive Metal Gear cat merchandise through the OKS GEAR Shop. The development studio will first have a special meet-and-greet at CatCon 2026. During this two-day-long event that celebrates cats and cat lovers, Konami will host a special themed booth.

Those who are going to CatCon 2026 at the Pasadena Convention Center in California from October 10 - 11 will be able to purchase some items that will be sure to delight their cat companions.

Can't make it out to California? Don't worry too much, because the OKS GEAR Shop will also make the items available for sale through their website during those same dates.

Konami will be there promoting Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, which will be released on August 27. The Metal Gear cat items include a couple of cat scratch boxes that are based on the iconic boxes from the series. There are also plushie pet toys and cat collars inspired by Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

KONAMI has partnered with Kat Curtis and her one-eared cat Uno – known online as “One Eared Uno”. Uno, considered a “cat-fluencer” among his fans, boasts over 5 million followers on social media. Kat and Uno create humorous skits online about their daily lives enamoring thousands of fans around the world. Uno and Kat featured in a special playthrough video of METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.2 where they revealed the specialty cardboard cat boxes that will be available for purchase at the KONAMI CatCon booth.

Uno and Kat will be visiting the KONAMI booth to host a special meet-and-greet with fans attending the event on Oct. 10 at 2PM (PST).

METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION Vol.2 releases Aug. 27 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and Steam.
