A new four-player co-op horror game from Nacon and ACE Team is now available on PC and consoles. The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu places you in the worn footwear of an explorers during the Conquistador era, venturing forth into an uncharted continent.
Players are on the hunt for a legendary city that is "rumored to hold unimaginable riches." Standing in your way will be "unnamable, hostile creatures and unexplained phenomena." Up to four players will get the honor of trying to survive in this hostile environments with creatures that are loosely based on Lovecraft's short story, The Mound.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu features full crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S. A physical release will be out on August 6 for PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S.

Sanity deteriorates with every expedition, warping players' perception of reality. Teams will face visual and auditory hallucinations that directly impact gameplay and coordination. Every expedition can quickly turn into a living nightmare. In this jungle, death is not the end: fallen adventurers can become corrupted, turning against their own brothers-in-arms.

- A Fragile Squad: The game features 8 playable characters, with 4 available at launch (Alonso de la Torre, Leonor, Don Rodrigo de Medina, and Fray Gaspar). They all share the same core mechanics and are equally vulnerable to the jungle's horrors.
- Period-Accurate Arsenal: To defend themselves, players must rely on limited ammunition and fragile equipment, including bows, crossbows, and early firearms like the arquebus.
- 18 Handcrafted Maps at Launch: Exploration spans 18 unique levels. Each map has been carefully handcrafted by the studio to deliver a dense, immersive, and oppressive atmosphere.
- Progression Through Exploration: To progress, players must recover the logbooks of past expeditions and successfully extract them to unlock new sectors of the jungle.
