    Link sleeping as depicted in the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

    Nintendo announced a remake for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time today during their latest Nintendo Direct. The trailer features no actual gameplay footage and is merely a teaser.

    Despite the complete lack of footage, Nintendo says that this remake for The Ocarina of Time will be released in "2026." Nintendo also says that this remake will be for the Nintendo Switch 2 and makes no mention of a release on the original Switch hardware.
