Blizzard Entertainment shared a look at what is next for Diablo 4. They say that there is "a lot of Hell to unpack." I personally would have gone with the "there's a Hell of a lot to unpack," but that's just me.
Today, the studio offered fans a deeper look at the upcoming Warlock class. The Warlock was first revealed as part of Diablo's 30th Anniversary Spotlight on February 11. The Warlock will be coming to Diablo 4 when the Lord of Hatred expansion drops on April 28. Thankfully some additional details were shared today that may make the wait for Diablo 4's Warlock a bit easier. Seriously, check out Blizzard's lengthy overview of the Warlock class. They go over every skill, lore, some Uniques, archetypes, class quest, and more.
The Warlock is a dark caster who rips demons straight out of Hell and bends them to their will.

Players will be able to play as the Paladin up to level 25. If you like it, you can continue playing as that class if you pre-purchase the Lord of Hatred expansion. All progress made in the free trial will carry over.
Blizzard also shared word about the upcoming Season of Slaughter. For the first time, players will be able to transform into The Butcher, the iconic and recurring enemy encountered through the Diablo franchise. The ability to become the Butcher begins March 11.
Activate Shrines of Slaughter in Helltide, compete in the Ceremony of Slaughter in Fields of Hatred, or go full Butcher fantasy in the new Slaughterhouses activity.
- Season of Slaughter also introduces Killstreaks; a five-tier system that rewards rapid kills with Experience and Seasonal Reputation when the streak timer runs out.
- DOOM: The Dark Ages Collab: Tear through Sanctuary with cosmetics inspired by the legendary demon slayer, launching March 11 with Season of Slaughter. Earn the Shield Saw skin, the Slayer's Flail, the Head of the Cyberdemon back trophy, and more through the most expansive free Reliquary yet. Additional DOOM-themed cosmetics will be available via the in-game Shop.
Finally, Blizzard shared that Lord of Hatred will double the number of monsters introduced in the game's first expansion, Vessel of Hatred. Blizzard notes that there will be new sea monsters and abominations, chimeric creatures, and "returning monsters from previous Diablo games like the grotesque Rat King, gargantuan Beasts, and abyssal Merfolk."
