Capcom has some good news to share this evening. They say that the release date for the sci-fi action-adventure game, Pragmata, will be moved forward by one week! This means that the game will be released on Steam, Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on April 17, 2026. The original release date for Pragmata was, of course, April 24th.
Capcom also released a new trailer today. This new trailer shares a look at some previously unseen locales within the lunar setting where Pragmata takes place. Some of these locales include the surface of the moon and a "lush greenhouse-like sector within the station." These areas are full of "formidable new foes" that Hugh and Diana will have to fight through as they attempt to escape and make a return to Earth.
The footage also introduces new elements found within the Shelter. In this base of operations, Hugh and Diana meet Cabin, a standalone support robot who assists with various Shelter functions. These include the Cabin Stamp Club, where Cabin Coins can be exchanged for rewards from the stamp board, with additional bonuses for completing rows. Cabin also allows players to change the Shelter’s background music via his jukebox, with more tracks becoming available as players progress through the game. This safe haven is also where players can equip cosmetic items and enjoy extras like those found in the Deluxe Edition and its Shelter Variety Pack, which includes extra costumes, a weapon skin, Diana gestures, more Shelter music, and a collection of artwork.
Pre-orders for Pragmata are currently live. You now have one less week to get a pre-order in in order to get access to a "samurai-themed Neo Bushido outfit for Hugh and a ninja-inspired Neo Kunoichi costume for Diana as a bonus."
