The latest trailer for John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is a bit of an unusual one. Instead of showing cutscenes, or gameplay, it instead is an animated trailer based on the game. The specially animated trailer features music from the synthwave band Gunship.
This trailer "brings the game's buddy-movie-meets-over-the-top-action spirit to life in vibrant cartoon form." The animations were created by Gizmo Animation. John "Master of Horror" Carpenter himself sets the stage for "an apocalypse unlike any other."
The original track from Gunship is entitled "Tell Me When the World Stops Ending."
There is also a playable demo for John Carpenter's Toxic Command available from now through March 2 on Steam. This will give you a taste of the game ahead of its full release on March 12 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic.
