Looking to get away from all that "hustle and bustle of big city life" and just chill on an island where you grew up? Starsand Island, coming February 11th to Steam Early Access and Xbox Preview, will let you do just that.
In Starsand Island, players will return to their childhood home and embark on "a journey f personal healing." You'll get to master various outdoorsy skills such as farming and fishing, all while also making friends and building relationships with others on the island. Explore mysterious ruins filled with wild creatures and explore the island either on foot, with roller blades, or a hoverboard, car, and even a motorcycle with sidecar.
Of course, what life sim game isn't complete without being able to build your own home. Starsand Island promises to include an "intricate and extensive DIY and construction system." You can also play with friends who can help you build and decorate the interiors however you want.
Starsand Island is expected to be fully released this summer from developer Seed Sparkle Lab. The Early Access and Xbox Preview period will be used to "finalise the comprehensive content and finesse the end-game experience for players." Starsand Island will fully launch not just on Steam and Xbox, but also on PlayStation 5 and Switch 2.
