  • Gunnar Releases New Borderlands Mad Moxxi Glasses

These are steampunk Mad Moxxi themed.
A couple pairs of GUNNAR glasses with a steampunk look, and tinted lenses.

Gunnar just announced and released their newest addition to their Borderlands Collection. The new specs take on a bit of a steampunk vibe and are inspired by the character Mad Moxxi, whom I believe has appeared in every Borderlands game to date.

These new Gunnar glasses retail starting at $99. They feature a stainless steel frame with a gold-tone finish. They also include mesh side shields that can be removed if you want. There are also heart engravings on the lens and temple-tip.

Of course, the Mad Moxxi glasses include Gunnar's blue light blocking lenses, their "G-Shield" protection against smudges and scratches, a +0.2 diopter for shaper focus, and "a wrap-around design to help prevent dry eyes during long gaming sessions."

Officially licensed by 2K Games, Mad Moxxi comes with Borderlands-inspired collector’s packaging, including a custom case, microfiber pouch, and cleaning cloth, plus a 12-month warranty.
And the cosplayer that modeled the glasses in one of the images is JessilynCupcake.

Know what they say about people with big heads, right? They need bigger glasses.

As someone with a larger head and who has spent several years wearing prescription glasses, I know the struggle of finding eyewear that fits. If you have a larger head size, "standard" fit glasses are often a recipe for a tension headache, pinching your temples just enough to be annoying after an hour and painful after four. GUNNAR has finally addressed this segment of the market with their new ...

Gunnar Unveils New King Size Collection of Blue Light Blocking Glasses
      by Shawn Zipay
As someone with a big melon, these are welcome additions.

Gunnar just announced a new "King Size Collection" of their blue light blocking glasses. There are three new frames available in the new King Size Collection for those with big heads that are in the market for new blue light blocking computer and gaming glasses.

First up is the Mammoth. Starting at $49, these rectangular frames are said to be "lightweight yet unbreakable."
