Astroneer: Megatech DLC was just announced today. Slated for release in November on PC and consoles, this paid DLC will be released a free content update available to everyone.
Megatech is Astroneer's second paid DLC. Slated to be released at some point this November, Megatech will allow players to build massive Megastructure projects with a mix of old and new technologies.
Each Megastructure will have its own unique identity and gameplay, unlocking new possibilities and rewards. Harness the power of Megatech to take Basebuilding and Automation to a whole new level.
This DLC will be fully compatible with existing saves and builds off of any progress you’ve already made in game, so feel free to start fresh, or load up your existing saves and start building.
In addition, ASTRONEER: Megatech will be released alongside a free update for all. The free update will include new items and the ability to create a single Megastructure type that will allow automated interplanetary transportation. That means you will be able to move resources and technology between planets.
