Maximum Football released into version 1.0 this week and with it came "a wave" of new content, polish, and some performance improvements. Maximum Football is a free-to-play, community-driven football sim that you can play right now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
Today's launch into version 1.0 includes several new additions, including the kickoff of Season 3: Golden Era. This new season is inspired by the gritty era of American football in the 1930s-1940s. There will be vintage style uniforms, leather helmets, and classic-era gear. There are also two new stadiums: Old Glory Grounds and Victory Park, both having throwback atmospheres.
Today's release of Maximum Football also adds in weather conditions such as rain and snow. Players can now also customize their stadium, as well as upload up to nine logos per team. A Franchise Mode is set to be released later this year along with new themed seasons.
