S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition is set to launch on May 20, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This is a three-pack of enhanced versions of Shadow of Chornobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Prypiat.
GSC Game World says that these releases have been overhauled with some tasty improvements over the originals. These improvements include upgraded lighting, godrays, screen space reflections, and global illumination. Textures have been upscaled, and 3D models have been improved for NPCs, weapons, and environments. There are new shader effects for water and wetness. There are upgraded skyboxes. There is also an improved weapon FOV "for better combat visibility." Finally, the pre-rendered cinematics are now in 4K.
On consoles, players will be able to experience the games at up to 4K resolution and 120 FPS. Furthermore, there will be mod support for the game across PCs and consoles.
