  • Killing Floor 3 Release Date Set Now for July 24th

The Fourth of July won't be the only day with some big booms.

Tripwire Interactive announced a new release date for Killing Floor 3, months after the game was delayed out of its original March release. Today during a showing at PAX East, Tripwire says that they plan to launch Killing Floor 3 on July 24, 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store.

The several month long delay was done in order to adjust and retool some key areas that weren't sitting well with fans. So far, Tripwire has shown off progress in updating aspects such as core designs, artwork, user interface, and animations.

"Since delaying the launch of Killing Floor 3, we’ve dedicated the additional development time to responding to the community’s feedback, ensuring the next chapter in the much-loved cult action/horror franchise lives up to our shared vision," said Bryan Wynia, Creative Director at Tripwire Interactive. "The support from our fans has been incredible, and with the new July 24th release date in sight, we're thrilled to bring that vision to players not just at launch, but through the continued support of new features and content that is a hallmark of our studio."
Along with today's new release date announcement comes word that the game is once again available for pre-order. There are Standard, Deluxe, and Elite Nightfall editions available for pre-purchase. Each edition offers a pre-purchase bonus that includes the "Flatliner" weapon skin set, the "Fear the Reaper" weapon trinket, and special action force player card.

The Deluxe Edition includes the "Shadow Agent" specialist skin set, "Shadow Agent" weapon skin set, a single Nightfall Supply pass access, and 1,000 Nightfall creds. The Elite Edition includes everything from the Deluxe Edition but bumps the Nightfall Supply passes from one to four, and the Nightfall creds from 1,000 to 3,000.

Killing Floor 3 is the next installment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series. The year is 2091, 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2, and megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now, the only thing standing between these infernal creations and the future of humanity is the rebel rogue group known as Nightfall. This intense first-person shooter puts players in the role of a Nightfall specialist, joining forces with up to five teammates as they battle through a war-ravaged, dystopian future, surviving unrelenting waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.
