During today's Nintendo Switch Direct, we got a new look at Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The new footage is mainly focused on some of the different psychic abilities Samus will be able to use when the full game launches later this year.
Samus uses her free hand to make use of those new abilities, which seem to play roles in both combat and puzzle solving. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn't shed too much light on the game's setting. We see only that it takes place within a jungle location on the planet Viewros.
Nintendo still says that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is coming out this year but has not yet shared an exact date yet.
