Yogscast Games, along with Gamersky, just announced that there will be two new strategy games launched on Steam on February 6, 2025. The first game is called Border Pioneer and it comes from Yahzj Games. The second is Stray Path from chx games. Both of them seem to be quite different from one another despite both being strategy games at heart.
Border Pioneer is a blend of city builder and tower defense. The game features a "deliciously nostalgic pixel style" where you will build up your own fortresses and try to keep them from crumbling from enemy attacks. The game boasts "diverse foes and unforeseen dangers" with the ability to expand your borders and territorial range. New abilities and elements will help you to grow and fortify your new settlements.
Meanwhile, Stray Path tasks players with trying to find a way out of seedy back alleys and twisted forest roads. Players will try to build up their deck to face all sorts of adversaries as well as gather treasures as they progress.
Both Border Pioneer and Stray Path are out on February 6, 2025. You can get both separately or as part of a bundle along with a 10% launch discount.
