If you ever wanted to know how Steve ended up in Minecraft in the first place, apparently A Minecraft Movie will finally explore that hidden lore. The newest trailer for A Minecraft Movie explores the origins of Minecraft Steve, played in the film by Jack Black.
This new trailer for the live-action Minecraft film shows a young Steve, a Steve full of hope and lofty ambitions to work the mines. Poor Steve could never work those mines because "something always got in the way." Anyway, somehow Steve ends up mining some mines and mines his way into Minecraft.
Oh, we also get a look at some more of the cast that includes Sebastian Eugene Hansen as young Henry, Jason Momoa as Garrett Garrison, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, and Emma Myers as Natalie. And get ready for a look at the film's take on Minecraft skeletons, zombies, Ender Pearls, and more.
Everyone that is eager to watch this movie should mark their calendars for April 4, 2025. A Minecraft Movie is directed by Jared Hess, who is known for directing Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre.
The first trailer for A Minecraft Movie came out in September.
