Reign of Sand is a big and free overhaul update for Atlas Fallen that promises to "refine your experience" in the game. This update not only overhauls existing systems but it adds in new content and features, with Deck13 calling this the "ultimate version" of the game.
Some of the new content added in Reign of Sand include a new area to explore, new enemies, a New Game+ option, a new difficulty, new perks and abilities, new open world challenges, and a reworked introduction and voice acting.
There are also new armors, customization options, improved visual effects, improved user interface, improved sounds, and many fixes and other enhancements. Deck13 recommends that for the "optimal experience" with the update you should start a new playthrough.
Atlas Fallen is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
