Two magic using characters from the Immortals of Aveum game.

Ascendant Studios and their partners at Enduring Games and EA Originals just announced that their "magic shooter" Immortals of Aveum will be the first game to feature FSR 3 with frame generation on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

First though, Immortals of Aveum is being updated with Patch 1.0.6.3. This patch, available today, adds HDR support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. HDR support for the PC release will be coming in a future update.

It is Patch 1.0.6.4 that will add in the FSR 3 support to consoles and a "newer, better version of FSR 3 to PC." This will make Immortals of Aveum to be the first game to feature FSR 3 with frame generation on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Patch 1.0.6.4 will also add support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) monitors and TVs. This VRR will be supported on both PC and consoles.

There is no exact release date announced for Patch 1.0.6.4. However, it is said to be "coming soon."

If you own a PlayStation 5 and are a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can add Immortals of Aveum to your account for "free" throughout the month of April.
