We've known for a while now that former Naughty Dog writer Amy Hennig was working on a new Marvel game at Skydance New Media. The initial announcement came back in 2022 but next to nothing was shown off at that time. Today, that game was finally revealed during Epic Games' State of Unreal showcase at the Game Developers Conference.

The new title is Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra and it is an Unreal Engine 5.4 powered action-adventure game expected for release in 2025. Set in an occupied Paris in World War II, you will get to play as four different characters. Those characters include Steve Rogers (aka: Captain America), T'Challa's grandfather Azzuri (aka: Black Panther), U.S. soldier Gabriel Jones, and the leader of a Wakandan spy network named Nanali.

Henning notes that every segment in the trailer was "running real-time in Unreal Engine 5." While the scenes shown off are quite visually impressive, we were not yet given a look at any actual gameplay sequences.
