Square Enix is collaborating with Fathom events and Sony Pictures to bring Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children to a theater possibly near you. On February 21 and February 22 there will be showings of Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children Complete at select theaters throughout the United States for the first time ever.

This director's cut of Advent Children will be shown at over 650 theaters across the nation. Tickets are being sold right now. I'm not sure if pricing is the same across all theaters, but the ones near me seem to be priced at about $12 - $13 per ticket.

Fans are being told to arrive early because there's going to be some pre-movie content to enjoy. There will be a history of Final Fantasy 7 shown off. There will also be gameplay from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth shown as well as new interviews with the director of Advent Children and Remake's creative director Tetsuya Nomura. There will also be interviews shown off with Rebirth director Naoki Hamuguchi and producer Yoshinori Kitase.

The director's cut of Advent Children includes 26 extra minutes not seen in the original release. The events in Advent Children continue the story from Final Fantasy 7. The original release of Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children came in 2005. It should not be confused with the other CG Final Fantasy film, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within as Advent Children is actually good.

Two years have passed since Midgar fell to ruin, standing as a testament to the sacrifices made in order to bring peace. However, the world will soon face a new menace: a mysterious illness is spreading fast. Old enemies are astir and Cloud Strife, who walked away from the life of a hero to live in solitude, must step forward yet again.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is the second title in the remake trilogy. It will be out on February 29 only on the PlayStation 5, with future releases on other platforms to be determined.
