The Forza franchise and Hot Wheels have a rather long history of working together. Forza Horizon 3 had its own Hot Wheels themed expansion. A number of Hot Wheels cars appeared in Forza Horizon 4. Now, Forza Horizon 5 and Hot Wheels will once again team up with another new Hot Wheels themed expansion.
Players will get to race along some of the "fastest, most extreme tracks ever devised." In addition, players will be able to design, build, and share their own Hot Wheels tracks utilizing 80 different snappable track pieces.
These pre-built and custom tracks will also be joined by 10 new cars. A couple of these cars include the 2021 Hennessey Venom F5 and the 2000 Hot Wheels Deora II.
Those who own the Premium Add-Ons bundle now will get immediate access to the Hot Wheels expansion when it releases on PC and Xbox on July 19, 2022.
Keep in mind that this is Forza Horizon 5's first major expansion. There is still a second expansion planned, which is also a part of the Premium Add-Ons Bundle. The game looks to be on sale at the time of this posting for 20% through the Microsoft Store or Steam.
