The final list of all PAX East exhibitors was shared today. Before we get into those, we must also note that the opening Storytime keynote for PAX East will be given by games industry veteran Alanah Pearce.
Pearce currently works as a writer for Sony's Santa Monica Studio, the developer responsible for the God of War franchise. When Pearce isn't helping to bring life to Kratos, she is busy doing regular content videos on her YouTube channel, doing countless charity streams on Twitch, creating several different podcasts, lending her voice and likeness to games like Gears 5 and Cyberpunk 2077, and even creating and hosting the Video Game Accessibility Awards alongside the senior director for Able Gamers Steven Spohn. Previously, Pearce worked at IGN and Rooster Teeth, mainly working with the Funhaus crew.
Pearce's opening keynote will be held at the Main Theatre on April 21 at 10:30AM (ET). For those not able to be there in person, the entire keynote will be streamed live on Twitch.
Following the keynote, the floor for PAX East will open to those in attendance. It is here that event goers will get to see the latest from hundreds of developers and publishers of all sizes. There will be playable demos and new previews from studios such as 505 Games, Devolver Digital, Thunderful Games, BattleBrew Productions, Wired Productions, Skybound Games, and tinyBuild.
These companies will be joining with other previously announced studios and teams that will have a presence at PAX East. These include Gearbox Software, Larian Studios, Focus Home Interactive, Koch Media, XSEED, Intel, AMD, Apogee Entertainment, Ysbryd Games, Humble Games, and many more. In addition to developers and publishers, PAX East will also have various speed run events going on courtesy of Games Done Quick. There will also be a Valorant tournament where participants are trying to earn $7,500 in collegiate scholarships, some Fall Guys battling between "popular content creators," plus speaking panels with people like WWE's Xavier Woods and Jirard "The Completionist" Khalil.
Additional events will also take place on the Main Stage. 1047 Games and PAX Arena will present the $10,000 Almost Pro Splitgate Open. It will be hosted by Alex Corea and include casters such as SUP3RSON1k, RomeDMV, CoachBitey, and aEvilCat. The Grand Final will take place on Sunday.
The full exhibitor list and event schedule for PAX East 2022 can be found online. As of this writing, there are still supposedly some Saturday badges still available. Four-day badges are also now available for $235. Individual badges for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are going for $62 each.
