Some sad news today as word has come from Sega and Two Point Studios that Two Point Campus has been delayed. The goofy sim-style game has been pushed out of a May 17 release to August 9.
The developer says that they "want to make sure that every single one of you gets the best quality game no matter what you're playing on." As such, the team needs some more time to optimize the game for all platforms.
On August 9, Two Point Campus will be out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Today's news was accompanied by a new developer behind the scenes video, which can be found below.
Mark Webley, Game Director at Two Point Studios had this to say:
"Our ambition from the start has been to release Two Point Campus across all PC and console platforms simultaneously to the quality and standard that our community expects from us. This means we will need a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platformsâ€. We will use these additional three months to optimise Two Point Campus for all platforms.â€
