According to a report from Windows Central, Microsoft may soon be adding an often-requested Family Plan to Xbox Game Pass.

There have been family plans available to those using just Xbox Live Gold for several years now. However, it was curiously missing from Game Pass subscriptions. Game Pass only allowed for one account per subscription and that was it.

With this proposed Family Plan option, you will be able to allow up to five accounts to join in on one subscription plan. It seems like the only catch here is that all people included in the Game Pass Family Plan will need to live in the same country as the primary account holder. Windows Central seems to think that Game Pass will make use of Microsoft's Family Account system that they already use for things like Office 365 subscriptions.

As it stands, there is no word on if there will be separate plans for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. There is no saying if this will even be implemented into Game Pass Ultimate or even if it will be implemented on PC at all.

Pricing is also still up in the air. It will presumably be cheaper than having five separate Game Pass subscriptions at the very least.
