Just imagine playing a game with these gripped firmly between your sweaty palms.

Microsoft just revealed a couple of custom Xbox controllers that will give a new meaning to the term "hairy palms." Xbox and Paramount Pictures have teamed up to create a couple of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 inspired controllers that are made to remind you of Sonic and Knuckles. These were made to be included as part of a new sweepstakes where you could win a custom Xbox Series S console and these Xbox Wireless Controllers.

Unlike the two controllers, the custom Xbox Series S has no fur on it. In fact, it is just a custom graphic design depicting a big golden ring above an embossed Sonic the Hedgehog 2 logo. I feel like this was a real missed opportunity here. They could have made the Xbox Series S look like Tails, complete with his twin tails sticking out of a vent so that when the system is on they would blow around from the fans.

The controllers themselves have a "textured coating reminiscent of the 'bristly' texture of hedgehogs in the wild." The controllers come in either Sonic Blue or Knuckles Red.
