The Wolf Among Us 2 had a big reveal stream a short time ago today. As part of the Geoff Keighley hosted presentation was the premiere of a new trailer for the episodic game.
We know that the first episode will be released in 2023. Though this game will have episodic releases, developer Telltale Games say that they will complete development on every chapter before the first part is released. The entire game will be spread out across five episodes. Each episode will be released with a "tighter cadence" than the original game.
The original release of The Wolf Among Us was also episodic. The original game was developed chapter-by-chapter which often led to long delays or stretches of time between episode releases.
The Wolf Among Us 2 will be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on the Epic Games Store in 2023. It will presumably be released in 2024 on Steam, but this isn't a guarantee as that platform was not announced anywhere.
The Wolf Among Us 2 takes place six months after the events of the first game. The new trailer, seen below (YouTube permitting), features Bigby Wolf in an anger management course recounting a little encounter that led to this situation. The original game came out was first released in October 2013.
