Another new video for Dying Light 2 Stay Human was released today from Techland. This latest video provides a deeper look at the day-night cycle that players will encounter in the game. Lead game designer Tymon Smektała provides fans with a wealth of information.

Specifically, Smektała talks about how night has changed quite a bit from the first game. Instead of nighttime being this thing that you want to avoid as much as possible, as was the case in the first game, nighttime now offers a lot of additional quests and places to explore. Some quests can only be completed during night and some locations that have worthwhile loot are far, far safer at night when the zeds are out wandering the streets.

Don't worry though. The night really isn't any easier compared to the first game. I can speak from experience on this one.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is out on February 4. The review embargo lifts on February 2.
