PAX East returns on April 21, 2022 as a live and in-person event. ReedPop announced that PAX East 2022 will be held from April 21 through April 24 in Boston, Massachusetts. Though further details will be coming soon, it's expected that the event will be held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center like it has been in the past.
ReedPop also notes that all participants looking to attend the event will be required to be fully vaccinated. Attendees will also have to provide proof of vaccination at the time of entry. Even still, masks will be required for all visitors, exhibitors, artists, enforcers, staff, and cosplayers. Basically, if you're going to PAX East 2022, you need to mask up and be vaccinated.
PAX East 2022 is the second PAX event that returned to being an in-person event. The first was PAX West 2021 that took place in September 2021. That particular event required that attendees provide vaccination proof or a negative COVID-19 test.
Today's announcement of PAX East 2022 comes just a few weeks after PAX South was cancelled for the foreseeable future.
