The second main piece of DLC for The Outer Worlds is about to drop for fans of the game. It's called The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos and it will be released on March 17, 2021 for the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. This will take players to a murder mystery adventure thanks to the efforts of Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division.
Players will take to the skies of Eridanos to "unravel the grandest murder mystery in the Halcyon colony." As with all good murder mysteries, everyone is a suspect. Players will try to figure things out after Rizzo's hired spokesperson, Halcyon Helen, ends up dead ahead of the release of the new Spectrum Brown Vodka. Players will travel across various floating islands to piece together the clues using the "Discrepancy Amplifier, a new gadget that highlights otherwise unseen hints."
Murder on Eridanos is the second and final expansion for The Outer Worlds. It can be purchased on its own or bundled at a discount with the Expansion Pass. If you do not yet own the game, it looks like the base game is on sale for 50% off right now, at least on Steam.
