    Digital Lode and Tripwire Interactive just released a special anniversary update for Espire 1: VR Operative. This special update offers enhancements specifically for the new Oculus Quest 2.

    Espire 1: VR Operative Updates for Oculus Quest 2
    • Increased pixel resolution and clarity with less aggressive dynamic foveated rendering
    • Higher mesh resolution for guards and other characters
    • Bullet impact particles from the PlayStation®VR version added
    • Added ricocheting bullets for players and guards
    • Unique bullet impact sound effects added for each surface type
    • Color-graded and optimized for the Oculus Quest 2 LCD screen
    • Enhanced audio: When the player crouches down, the game’s soundtrack dynamically submixes the music down while increasing the sounds of footsteps and voices of guards

    Espire 1: VR Operative Updates for Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2
    • Improved shaders and materials. Added roughness and reflectivity to many surfaces
    • Increased performance across the board
    • Improved loading times across the board
    • Added support for Oculus Dash “Overlays” for Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2

        Digital Lode Immersive Media just launched Espire 2 today with the help of publisher Tripwire Presents. This is the sequel to Espire 1: VR Operative, a game that placed you into the stealth shoes of an Espire Agent. In Espire 2, players control POE as they take control of remote-operated espionage frames, sneaking about, hacking, and shooting their way through a full single player campaign or the newly added multiplayer co-op campaign.

        Digital Lode and Tripwire Presents announced Espire 2 during today's Meta Quest Gaming Showcase. This is a follow-up to the original game which was a first-person stealth action VR title, Espire 1: VR Operative. Espire 2 is slated for release in November 2022 for the Meta Quest 2.

        The first paid DLC for the VR stealth experience.

        Espire 1: VR Operative just announced a new Sydney Sneakabouts Mission Pack DLC. This is the first paid piece of content announced for the VR stealth action title since it was released back in 2019. Sydney Sneakabouts should be available for purchase right now on the Meta Quest Store for the Quest, Quest 2, and Quest 3. The suggested retail price is just $4.99.
