Assassin's Creed on Netflix

A live-action series for Assassin's Creed is coming to Netflix. This is deal between Netflix and Ubisoft includes "multiple different series" that includes a "genre-bending live-action epic" alongside others that will be animated and anime adaptations.

It is still early days for the live-action series though. Right now, the team is looking for a showrunner. So far, Ubisoft Film and Television's Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik will serve as executive producers on the show.

“For more than 10 years, millions of fans around the world have helped shape the Assassin’s Creed brand into an iconic franchise,” said Jason Altman, Head of Ubisoft Film & Television - Los Angeles. “We’re thrilled to create an Assassin’s Creed series with Netflix, and we look forward to developing the next saga in the Assassin’s Creed universe.”
This news comes a mere two weeks ahead of the release of the latest Assassin's Creed video game, Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It will be released on November 10 for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 (on November 12), PlayStation 4, and PC. An Amazon Luna release is also happening later on when that service launches.
