Today during Gamescom Opening Night Live, we got ourselves a fresh look at Star Wars: Squadrons. Specifically, we got a fresh look at the game's single-player component, something you may not have even realized existed for the game.

This includes the confirmation of several familiar faces along with a slew of new faces to the Star Wars universe. Some of those familiar faces are from the original trilogy along with the animated series.

Star Wars: Squadrons is looking at an October 2, 2020 release date for a price of just $39.99 (USD) at launch. It will be out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, Origin, and the Epic Games Store. It will have support for PlayStation VR and PC VR devices. There is also cross-play support across all platforms.
