Given that we have not yet seen any sort of gameplay for Mafia: Definitive Edition, it should not come as any surprise that the game has been delayed. The lack of gameplay was especially concerning as the game was originally slated to be released on August 28. It was just revealed to be pushed back to a September 25 release instead. The reason? Yep, it's our old pal COVID-19 showing up again.
The announcement of the delay comes alongside word of the first actual gameplay reveal. This Mafia: Definitive Edition gameplay reveal will arrive on July 22. To attempt to tide us over until the 22nd, Hangar 13 and 2K released a short, 15-second teaser today through their Twitter account. You can find that below.
