It's a new New Year, so it's time for more savings.
A Plague Tale: Innocence

In honor of the Chinese New Year on January 25, a lot of games are on sale. It may not make sense to everyone, but it makes sense here. Valve is once again holding their big Steam Lunar New Year Sale. It just started today and will run through to January 27 at 10AM (PT).

This sale will once again allow you to save on "thousands of titles." And of course there is a new event for you to take part in for some freebies. You will be able to follow the origin story of the Zodiac and open a new gift from the Emperor each day of the sale. I wonder if one of those gifts is freedom for Hong Kong? 🤔

Each day, you will get red envelopes full of Year of the Rat Tokens. These can be used to get seasonal items from the Lunar New Year Night Market. The market includes things like a $5.00 off coupon for 5,000 tokens, various chat stickers starting at 500 tokens, profile themes, animated mini-profile backgrounds (new), emotes, and more.

Other than that, the sale is the usual sort of thing. Tons of games are on sale. Tons of DLC is on sale. Tons of bundles are on sale. There are sections set up that are appropriately "themed" for this event, including the games that fit under the "Year of the Rat" idea. This includes something like the fantastic A Plague Tale: Innocence as an example. Just browse around Steam and chances are you're going to find something on sale nearly everywhere you look.
