Square Enix officially announced Kingdom Heart III Re Mind DLC for a January 23, 2020 release on the PlayStation 4. It will hit the Xbox One platform on February 25, 2020.
This DLC will provide a new playable episode for those that have completed the base Kingdom Hearts III game. A new trailer, officially revealed today, shows off some of the Final Fantasy characters that will appear in the DLC. This includes a look at Aerith from Final Fantasy VII. It also takes a little peak at some of the hard truths that Sora never before imagined. That sounds intriguing!
While this DLC will run you a bit of cash, $29.99 (USD), there will be a free update to bring the game up to version 1.07. This update rolls out in January for all players. It will include an update to the main story, new abilities, a new form for Sora, and the addition of "Oathkeeper" and "Oblivion" Keyblades.
In Re Mind, players will be able to take on multiple boss battles, a Limitcut and Secret Episode, a new greeting mode, slideshow features and a new “Premium Menu†mode that includes diverse difficulty settings and gameplay challenges.
