A trailer is here highlighting the big opening for the second phase of the closed beta for Warhammer: Chaosbane. So I guess this is a double whammy of a news post here. Not only is there a new trailer for this second phase of the beta, but it's also news that the second phase of the beta is now live.
Neat.
This beta is still "closed" in the sense that it's only available for those that pre-ordered the game. If you haven't done that, you can still get into the beta by picking up one of the game's three flavors (Standard, Magnus, or Digital Deluxe). The basic edition starts at around $49.99, which might be a bit more appealing to those that were expecting full price on this.
Anyway, let's hear a bit more about this beta phase. Before that, I'll let you know that Warhammer: Chaosbane will be released on June 4 for the PS4, XB1, and PC. Those with the Magnus Edition or Digital Deluxe will get to play starting May 31.
This second phase will take place from April 18th to the 24th on PlayStation 4TM, Xbox One, and Steam.

- Playable campaign: the first three missions of Act 2 taking place in Praag as well as Act 1, which takes place in a Nuln that has been improved and reworked using the feedback the players provided during the first beta phase.
- Two new playable characters join the Imperial soldier and the High-Elf mage: the Dwarf slayer and the Wood-Elf archer.
- Maximum level: 25
- Cooperative mode with up to four players locally or online in order to test the synergy between the four classes
