In the clip below, you can hear a gun shot just prior to Beahm walking away from the stream to investigate.
Before cutting the stream Beahm appeared visibly shaken, far removed from his "fake" streaming persona of a super competitive, super toxic gamer. Before cutting the stream, Beahm did issue a quick comment about what was going on. The clip below shows Beahm returning out of character to explain the situation. The clip ends before it could capture the full statement.
"I gotta end the broadcast right now. Somebody shot at our house, broke the fucking upstairs window. This is the second shot. Someone shot yesterday. Someone shot yesterday at our fucking house, and someone shot again right now. It connected with the house upstairs, right? You’re driving by, right? You pussy! I gotta stop the stream."
You did read that correctly. Apparently, the Doc's house was shot at yesterday in addition to today's incident. According to Kotaku, who reached out to the police in Beahm's area, there was a deputy on the scene that was investigating.
A note on Dr. Disrespect's Twitch page reads, "Doc and Family Are Safe. Proper Measures are be taken while stream is down for the day." It's good to hear that everyone is okay.
